I'm pregnant and I've read that pregnant women should drink raspberry leaf tea. Why?

I think it is a traditional way of inducing labour.
You must be careful with this. Speak to your midwife, do not drink it until 4 weeks before your due date. It helps tone the uterus and to induce stronger contractions and therefore an easier birth. It worked 4 x for me.
If you don't like the taste of the tea,it's available in tablet form from most health food shops.it worked for me 3x.
take it from the end of month 7 and prepare your body for labour, it claims to work, maybe i started drinking it too late, although i was only in labour for 2 hours and never felt much pain without drugs.,,, now i think of it , maybe it did work.lol
