Just heard my baby's heart beat!
Just got back to work from hospital where we had a meeting with our midwife. Was delighted when she said she wanted to hear the heart beat!
She stuggled to find it at first but eventually the little ones heart beat was heard loud and clear!!
Was very emotional and pretty amazing!
I'm 20 weeks now, unless i hear any different according to my scan on Thursay!
Got all my results back and they were fine and the midwife was absolutely lovely and made me feel on top of the world!!
(sorry not a question but thought i'd share!)

She had a 7 and a half week one which only i saw not her. This will be the first one she has seen.
I remember my scans, I could have laid there all day too!
Re: 4D scans, 5 minutes is a long time I think, unless the baby is asleep and therefore not doing anything interesting!

oooh a lovely young grandma!
Thats really nice, not only have you watched your daughter grow up but you have the opportunity to watch your daughter become a mother and watch your grandchild grow up! My fellas mum is 48 and is VERY young acting and looking (people mistake her for my fellas girlfriend lol) so she has self named herself "Aunty" rather than "Granny"lol.
I worried my knickers off about my age (22) when i became pregnant, but sooo many people and my midwife (who's 54) told me how she thinks the 20's is a wonderful age to have children...so i'm a lot more at ease!
I'm taking my mum to my next scan...cant imagine how emotional she'll be!!! Think the ol' tears will be streaming!
Yeah 5 minutes is a long time, think 95 is pretty cheap for pictures and a DVD!
