Pregnancy Test

I was just wandering wether anyone knows if being on the pill affects the result of a pregnancy test. I'm only asking because I really thought I was pregnant because I had all the symptoms and i took a test this afternoon and it said negative. Perhaps I'm wrong and I'm not but I thought maybe the pill might have an effect on it? Thank you x

the pill shouldnt affect a test result. But you may get a negative when pregnant if you take it too early.
If you think you may be pregnant then test again in a week. You could also come off the pill and take alternative precautions for a while until you are certain.
