5 weeks and bleeding

i am just over 5 weeks pregnant with my 5th child and have just started to bleed i have some slight cramping but i have had worse periods than this pain it is not a heavy bleeding but simular to a very light period - i ahve seen gp and have a scan booked for tomorrow but im eager to know if anyone has experienced this and what happened??

I know that some women do get some blood whilst pregnant - think they call it "spotting". Alsong as you're told by a professional that it's fine then i wouldnt worry unless it started getting heavier. x

I had two periods whilst pregnant with my daughter, both at the start of my pregnancy. It was because of the two "normal" periods, I didnt even have a suspision I could be pregnant until I missed my period at three months!

Put your feet up for the rest of the night (if the kids will let you!) and try and relax!

i had this with both my pregnancys, i was terrified that i was loosing them. My son was born a healthy 9lb 9 0z!! My second pregnancy I had the same but a bit more bleeding, I had a few scans and they saw what looked like an empty sack, they said she was probably a twin, but this was so early in the pregnancy, it didnt bother me, i know that sounds awful but i was so relieved she was ok. she was born a healthy 9lb 4oz
