Pregnant again after 12 years.
I have a 15 year old son and a 12 year old son and will soon be giving birth to a daughter in August. My sons are not happy at all about this. They seem to think they'll have to babysit all the time because they see their friends doing it a lot. Has anyone else had kids this far in age spaced apart and if so, how did it work out?

There are seven years between my two which is about half the difference. My son was brilliant when my daughter was born and ever since, they are now 22 and 15 and get on really well - probably because they no longer live in the same house!
I wonder are you expecting your son's to babysit regularly? If not, then just tell them so and hopefully that will solve the problem. They will probably love her to death and be very protective of her.
Good luck and enjoy xx

Yes, Miss Random, I did keep my dog. After hearing a bunch of opinions and speaking with the Vet and accessing him for myself, I don't think he'll pose any harm to her. However, I still won't ever leave him alone with her. Now if I could only get my boys to come around to accepting a new sister. My 12 year old is beginning to come around but no such luck yet with the 15 year old. I think he's just afraid of the unknown and is assuming the worst for his case.
