Confused

Started talking to this guy last week when he approached me in my college cafe. We talked & exchanged numbers, he calls and texts me sometimes (he's very busy). We hug everytime we see each other and lately been hanging out between classes. He even skips his class to hang with me; did that today actually. 2day was an interesting day though, when we were eating lunch he kept flirting with me by touching me & stuff and when I got up to throw trash away, he apparently said 'she wants me.' And his friend even refered me to him as 'your girl.' But I was a little confused when another friend came over to talk to him & they were saying how she can hook him up with this girl blah blah. It sounded like they were just messing around and joking but it made me feel a little weird since I've been with players in the past. I don't know if this was just a test to make me jealous or what. Also, the few days before, while the two of us were walking and hanging out, I stopped to talk with a guy I graduated with to say hi and it seemed like he got a little mad (jealous). Anyways (back to when we were eating lunch), he continued flirting with me after that & when I had to leave, his hug was different; he wrapped his arms around me and held me for a bit. He then told me to have a great day. When me and my friend left, she (who also knew him) said that she could tell that he wanted me. then she laughed and said but it's [his name], he wants everyone! I'm confused. I usually know when guys are interested and I've only known him for a week, but it seems like he really digs me. Maybe I'm just paranoid! Any input would be great.

I'd either have it out with him straight or wouldn't bother, I can't be doing with blokes like that - they're just timewasters.

It sounds to me like he really likes you but take heed of what your friend said about him 'wanting everyone', if thats true then he may be abit of a 'ladies man'. There's also the possibility that your friend said what she said because she was a little jealous that he fancies you and not her, in which case she would be meaning that it was nothing special that he likes you cos he likes everyone. Lastly, maybe he does want everyone, thats okay, if its true then just enjoy hanging out with him but don't get too wrapped up in him until you what his intentions are. Even players fall in love and settle down when they meet the right girl,(well, some of em!).
