I've been trying (and so far failing) to get pregnant for 6 months now and just about ever woman I know seems to be pregnant. Theres good news everytime I talk to someone. Came off my pill in May and havent had a proper period since. Its sooooo blimmin frustrating and upsetting :o( Has anyone else had any similar experiences coming off the pill? I was on it for 10 years but dont know if that has any relevance to how long it takes for my cycle to settle down. I need shares in clear blue cos I'm always having to 'check' to make sure!

took me 2 1/2 years, now 30 weeks.

Just keep shagging!
Hi, I too came off the pill in May and still trying lol. I have never had regular periods even when i was taking the pill, just came when it felt like it. when i came off the pill it was 3months before i had my first propper period and have had another one since that. I have been to the docs and as others have said it can take a while for the pill to come out of your system so try not to panic. I have been on various forms of contraception for about 12 years so i can imagine it will take a while for things to setle, When we first started trying i was waiting for something to happen each month, but now i dont think about it as much, just get on with it and it will hopefully happen in the near future. dont worry and just wait for nature to take its course. good luck x
