Pregnancy Symptoms?
I posted a question last week regarding when I can do a pregnancy test. Someone has replied mentioning having symptoms 5 days before she was due to start her period, can anyone shed any light on what these may be?
My last period started 6/7th Nov, so due on beginning of next week.
Oh, and I'm hoping to be pregnant!

painful breasts
weeing more frequently
slight achy tummy
iiritability
others that ive experienced were
an aversion to some smells and foodstuffs
slightly sicky feeling but that started later
tiredness
and vivid dreams (often on the side of naughty)
of course the body can be a cruel thing at times and make you feel these things just because its what you really want to feel.
Good luck

About 2 weeks or so after my last period in June I experienced fatigue, swollen breasts and headache's. At that point I guess the egg would have just been fertilised.
For me, the morning sickness (or 24 hour severe nausea as I call it) didn't start until about week 7 of the pregnancy, it affected me pretty badly so I remember vividly!! Thankfully it subsided at about week 10. Now, at week 23 I can't stop eating! Best of luck to you lublu, how long have you been trying? Are you taking folid acid suppliments?, if not, you should.

Mountainboo, not been trying long and probably a long shot that it's happened so quickly.
I've been really tired and have had strange feelings in my tummy for the past couple of days, nothing bad, just a bit of an irritant really!
We agreed that we'd try in the New Year, so going for some folic acid tomorrow as we've brought it forward!!

Hi LuBlu, just keep in mind everyone and every pregnancy is different. I had no symptoms with my daughter apart from a little sickness between 3 and 4 months. This time round I knew I was pregnant before any of the tests were showing positive. I was tired, had tender breasts, had a metallic taste in my mouth.
I think the best thing for you to do is wait and do a test the day you are due on, if you dont come on.
Good luck and if it hasnt happened this time, dont stress about it, just relax and have fun trying :)

The only things I noticed which were different to period symptoms were the aching breasts and what felt like a cold or flu brewing.
I never have tender breasts before a period, only when I am pregnant.
I also went off coffee, and felt nauseous from day one ~ I couldn't even brush my teeth without heaving :o(
Good luck! xxx
