Baby turning
3 Answers
'Ello peeps, what are your experiences with the baby turning? For weeks I have been feeling that he / she / it is laying across me as I have felt movements on both sides at the same time (hands and feet at same time or star jumps lol), but since this morning I can feel it right in the middle like it is either kicking or punching my bladder area and lying straight down my front. I am not worried just interested, I have midwife appt on 9th Jan so will ask her then if it hasn't moved around again by then.
P.S. I am 27 weeks
P.P.S Hope you are all well :-)

You are probably noticing that youre feeling more squirming type movements rather than the obvious kicking. It is hard to tell sometimes which end is which as both bottom and head are hard so baby may move without you realising it, for example while you are sleeping. Baby probably wont actually settle in one position til around 34 weeks ish.
Im nearly 31 weeks now and when mine moves.......owwww! lol I know it!

Psy, I'm glad you said about the squirming rather than kicking because I've really noticed him moving more than kicking recently and I wasn't sure if that was normal so I'm glad it is.
Natalie, I often feel him move on both sides of my tummy at the same time so I always wonder if he is lying accross my tummy. Other times I can feel movement right up inbetween my ribs. Sometimes he presses or moves against my bladder which can be a little uncomfortable. I get some really strange movements sometimes and wonder what he is up to in there, I wish I could see what he is doing.

Hi both, thanks for your answers. Today they have moved round again, I think there's some sort of aerobic workout going on in there or they're just trying to trick me; each time I think I have an idea of where they might be laying I get poked somewhere else, and it only seems to happen when I am settling down to sleep or at silly o'clock in the morning! lol
