Exact Conception Date
4 Answers
My girlfriend is pregnant with our second child, however, she's apparently been given an exact conception date (i.e. right down to the day). I hadn't realised that was possible. How accurate is this?

would there be any reason why your girlfriend would think its neccessary to know exactly when the baby was concieved?
women are normally most fertile for pregnancy 2wks after their period finishes.

hiya, this isnt actually possible, unless you only had sex the one time and remember the exact date of it!
they work it out by your last period, say that was 28th june ( for example)
obviously everyone is different but its approximatly 2 weeks after that you start to ovulate, you ovulate for only appox 1-3 days
so...
if your last period was the 28th june you add on 2 weeks that makes 12th july so the next few days after this are the most likely to be day of conception
hope that helps, i aint that great at explaining things!! lol x
