Aahh, that's a really nice story! I know I am extremely lucky as I had one of each but I know quite a few people who have all girls and they love them to bits.
It very much depends on the person themselves - I always wanted boys and I have two - little girls freak me out a bit. My husband had a slight preference for a girl with our first, but was happy to have a boy and actually preferred to have a 2nd boy as he thought that it would be easier as he now was used to dealing with a boy.

My brother had a son first, but was desperate for a little girl and was over the moon when his little girl was born - he went straight home from the hospital to paint her room pink.

I think lots of guys like to have their baby girls to love and protect - it makes them feel more manly in a way.

I wouldn't worry about the name thing. my brother changed his name anyway! I was concerned about it so I kept my maiden name, but took my hubby's too. I gave my daughter my maiden name as a middle name. So it will carry on in a way. x
i think it sounds like YOU want a boy, not him!
i love little girls! My little Girl is 4 + Gorgeous - Her name is Elisha, which i love - Obviously!
i also love the name Isabella. (Issy or Bella for short.) Hope the rest of your Pregnancy goes well. xx
I have two beautiful sons, and if there was to be a third baby, it wouldn't bother me a hoot what sex they were. Id folk really want children, then they love what they get, and so long as they're healthy and happy, that's all that should matter.
I agree with Ice, the most important thing to worry about is the childs health, thankfully my missus gave birth to two boys who had already been named...Emily and Victoria!
Fantastic!!! I might've wondered about Marilynn or Shirley though.
Nah, Marilyyn was 50`s icon and Shirley was a curly haired child star of the 40`s

Emily was a Corrie icon and Victoria was just ......posh

They`ll thank me for it one day
i was thinking in terms of them being boy's names!!! Wasn't John Wayne a real Shirley? And Marilyn Manson??? Not sure of the spelling there, but you get the gist!
Think the names you've chosen are fine. I have a sister called Victoria. I prefer standard old names to the weird and whacky.
John Wayne was called Marion, Big Daddy was called Shirley

Aww fook, I called my kids Jack and George
Ooops!! you're so right! What with posting in the wrong topic, and mis-spellings. : (
Been a long day.
Adopt a baby boy(:
