im 39weeks my baby is breech, the midwife thought id gone into labor on wednesday sentme up to DS , i wasnt in labor but the consultant said my baby still feel very small i have had 2 groth scans 1 at 33weeks she was 4lb and one at 37weeks she was 5lb but on wed the consultant did a scan and cross the 5lb out and put 4lb no growth. how can one scan say one thing and another say something eles? im really worried! plus they want me to go to DS everyday for an hour of moitoring her heart and movement and chech my waters have not broken iv never heard of them being so careful and watching over her so much they just said its cus she is breech has anyone eles been watched so much with a breech baby im scared there not telling me something!

Hi carlie. As you know, I'm 39 weeks with a breech baby also. I had a growth scan at 37 weeks and they said my baby was 5lb 11 but that this was slightly on the small side of normal. Have they given you a date for a planned c-section? They told me that they would do my section at 38 weeks (which is this week) but they cant fit me in until the 30th. I'm due the 1st so this is cutting it fine so I'm trying not to go into labour!! They just said to me to come in if I feel any pains at all as they would rather send me home every day than me go in already dilated. I'm really suprised they havent delivered you yet if your baby isn't growing, so they must not be too worried? Does she move around a lot?

Also hun, I doubt they're keeping something from you. They cant afford to not cover their backs over things like this.

well at 35wks they sed my baby was small then they sed he neva had enough water around him so the monitord me for 1 hr a day for a wk then they induced me and he weighed 5'1 which is good for being so early . so dont worry they need to keep a close eye on ppl these days, just think u wud be the first to complain iv sumthing was up and they neva kept an eye on u. i felt special .lol
