As it is a reasonablly unusual name anyway, this may not apply to you, but, my younger son is called Ciar (pronounced Kee -ar). The more common spelling of this is Keir, but we went with the proper Gaelic spelling and i am comfortable with that. However, he does find it frustrating that people don't always know how to say his name and he can never buy anything with his name printed on it unless we get it specially made up for him - do be fair, there are not many things that you can buy that have Keir printed on them either!
At the end of the day, it is you and your partners baby and you both need to be comfortable with what you call him. If you are anything like me, you will probably change your mind by the time he is born, or take one look at him and decide it doesn't suit him!
Remember that one day he will be a grown man and the name you choose will need to carry him through life and allow him to be what he wants to be, for example I like the name Jamie, but think it is weird on a grown man.
For the record, my vote would go to Keenan or I always liked Kian.
