Should I take another birth control pill after vomiting?
I took my birth control pill last night and threw up 40 minutes later. Turns out I have some sort of flu bug. At any rate, last night I threw up six times, so I didn't take a replacement pill, but I have not thrown up since. Do you think the birth control pill was absorbed into my body when I took it last night? Should I just take my regular pill at the regular time tonight, or should I take an extra pill to make up for the one I might have thrown up? Thanks so much!

If you have the flu you wouldn't have been wanting sex anyway! lol but what people have said on here is kinda correct. My pill is absorbed within 40 mins but I would use a condom for the next two days just in case as advised in my instruction leaflet. But all pills are different so you may need to use extra precautions for up to a week. Read the leaflet.
