Growth at 8 weeks...

Hi, I'm around 8 weeks pregnant. From around 6 weeks I've had to wear a sports bra 24/7 due to increased size and intolerable pain, also my stomach (and bum!?) are noticeably bigger. I didn't think my tummy would show quite so much at this stage and it's not going to be long before people start asking questions! Is there much chance that I could be further along than I think? Last period was on February 23rd.

It's a possibility - I didn't start to show noticably with my first until 4/5 months. Have you been to the drs yet ?- they will be able to give you a better indication. All the best.

Thank you. I have been to my GP and had my Midwife appointment last week but forgot to ask! have got my first scan next week so fingers crossed!

Hi I just found out last week I was pregnant and I am now 6 weeks. My clothes are tight and my tummy is quite bloated at times so it looks like I am showing too! Obviously this isn't the baby as it is only the size of a bean but you do definitely bloat early on.
My boobs are incredibly sore too like yours!

The midwife will provisionally date your pregnancy based on the dates you gave about your last period, you will find out for sure at your first scan which is the dating scan. Some conditions can cause accelerated pregnancy symptoms, namely hydatidiform mole, so it is important you mention this to your midwife.
