There was no pain and after I was given a cup of tea and two biscuits. Then I went home, it was bandaged just for a few days. I hope it goes alright for you, try not to worry too much.
Anything's better than CTS stevie. The lady at my local M&S had both of hers done and she's a different person. You'll be fine. I had it when I was pregnant with my first and it's one of the worst thing I've ever experienced. I was ready to chop the ends of my fingers off, the pressure was so great..
I had my right hand done many moons ago - I seem to remember being unable to do a lot for around 2 weeks. try google see if they can give you a more recent estimate on the time you would need to be off work. I know the op worked - I'd been in a lot of pain and wasn't sleeping because of the pain. So well worth having it done. Mine was done under general anisthetic but I know they tend to use local anisthetic now. Well worth having it done and I don't think I had a lot of pain after the op. All the best for tomorrow - I know you won't need it.
Had mine done about 4 years ago stevie - made a heck of a difference. LH took longer to heal than RH and the scar wa stender for quite some time. Op itself was no problem Because it was under local anaesthetic I had a right laugh with the theatre staff they were brilliant talked none stop which makes a real difference.
Hope everything went ok
