hopefully this wont be anything to worry about.
I had this with my little one. Turned out that he was sucking/feeding for comfort and making himself sick as his little tummy couldn't handle all the milk. A dummy did the trick in the end :o)
Saying that it could be all sorts of different reasons so best take the bubs to the gp asap
Could be simple infant reflux. My baby granddaughter suffers from it and has infant gaviscon in every feed which has solved the problem but you need to go to the doctors to get it.
My son used to be sick after every single feed. Not just a little bit, but proper projectile vomiting!
This went on for months, but the HV never seemed to be concerned.
It got to the point, where I would feed him with a huge towel draped over myself and the sofa!
As others have suggested, get him/her to the docs, just to be safe :-)
Flip, a friends baby had that and was eventually diagnosed with diaphragmatic hernia but only when the child was a few years old. As ummmm said they don't seem to bother when the child puts on weight.
I'm with flip with this all my boys had it and the girls didn't. got to the point fed them and draped a towel waiting for the sick, if not it would hit the walls. Found out it was reflux and boys are more prone to it. Looking back I think it may have been the formula, the twins didn't start being sick till 3 weeks when put on the bottle and the other one was bottle fed from the start and was sick from the beginning, didn't stop till put on cows milk at 6 months. ( it was 19 years ago, when you didn't get grief for putting on cows milk) now all 3 strapping lads.(well men, but they're still my boys to me) lol
