It's been almost 5 years since me and Mr Sunflower split. We are best of friends but I am thinking of getting divorced as now it's just silly still being married.
Are the quickie divorce under £50 really legit? We have a 13 and 14 year old if this helps x
I think after a certain period (possibly 5 years) if you both agree on everything, you will be able to obtain a 'quickie divorce'. However, since there are children involved, I think the court will wish to ensure that the arrangements you have made for them are suitable. Go and talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau.
thanks ummm and naomi it's one of those things I keep thinking I should approach Mr S to do but sometimes I think I would be better spending the money elsewhere....unless it is cheap. I will look into it though
Divorce can be as expensive or as cheap as you make it. If there are children are involved and everything is amicable between both parents please do not get the CSA involved a good solicitor will give you that advice. Work everything out before going to see a solicitor and good luck. After 5 years separation no one can contest the divorce but the respondent (ie your husband ) will still need to acknowledge the court papers.
