Paedophile

This is a straightforward question, I simply want to know what as many people as possible think.
If you had a daughter, sister, grand-daughter who already had small children and then invited a paedophile into their home, what would you think? Would you approve or object? And if you objected, what would you do about it if anything?

I's like a lot more information before I make a kneejerk reaction. How old are the children? Is the man concerned actually convicted of an offence if so what offence? Is he in a romantic relationship with the children's mother? Is he ever left alone with the children? Is he actually prohibited from being around children by a court order? At the moment it's all too vague to make anything but the most flimsy of responses too based on people's gut repulsion for child molesters.

the person wouldn't get within a hundred miles, if he was a known paedophile why would anyone let him near their children.

Sharingan - thats a lovely adult, balanced response & i would love to live in la la land too.
but If an 'event' happened then it is there for life and i wouldn't be able to live with myself for standing on the sidelines while i collected all the information i need.
Prevention is better than cure for this one.

If he's a convited paedophile, and on an offenders list then he shouldn't be allowed around children on own and the police have the right to remove him, and I would cetainly objet to him being near kids
