I am very concerned about three siblings - I believe they could be harmed by their mother's new fiancé.

I have scant details about the mother - just her name and town. Who should I contact, preferably anonymously?

I have thought long and hard about taking action and feel I have no choice but to.

Thanks all. I have given as much info as I can to the NSPCC and will phone his local police station now.

Thanks again for all your advice.
Well done - will you let us know the outcome (if you ever eat to find out)?

HC - Can you give a little further information about the situation and perhaps I might possibly have more to add about the possible route social services would take if that is helpful to you?

Otherwise as has already been pointed out, NSPCC is good to cal as a sounding block and to offer advice, and probably give key words that get social services ears pricked up to the correct level.
Ah, all sorted, jolly good :c)

I don't expect to find out, but I'll post an update if I do
Alwaysconfused with every that's been happening recently even if you have the slightest suspicion i'd be on the phone to the police. They're the detectives and have resources to check their backgrounds, criminal records and things like passport travels and deed poll name changes etc.. So there could be a lot behind the scenes which may uncover quite a bit or might uncover nothing but then at least you can feel safe knowing that the suspect has been checked out and the kids are okay.

Good for you hc4361, you've done the right thing.
