Access To Son And Court Order
0 Answers
I'm currently struggling to gain access to my son. He lives with his mother and her partner. I work shifts and have a 10 week rota which his mother has access to. Sometimes this can work and i have had in the past regular access, but recently she has pleased her self as to if i have him or not and advises me she has made other plans or its not convenient. This is for no apparent reason or excuse. On more recent occasions she has used my son as a weapon if we disagree on anything to do with his care, and advises my that unless i agree with her, or apologise for not agreeing in the first place, i am unable to see my son.Its come to the stage that I'm an inconvenience. I have already done some ground work by looking into mediation, which his mother is unwilling to pursue, and have looked into a court order, but unfortunately this doesn't seem to accommodate someone who works various shifts on a rota, as there is no set day i can arrange. I could arrange amount of nights per month but there is no mention of this. There also doesn't seem any repercussion if the order is breached. CSA are not interested in any disputes and can not support gaining access. I will seek further advise from a solicitor but i feel at a bit of a loss, can anybody shed any light on or have any suggestions?
