Should We Have Been Let Out Of Detention Early Because Of A Staff Meeting ? Or Did We Get What We Deserved ?

hi big becky is back, I have kept out of trouble except for a school detention last night, my complaint.
last night I had a detention it last for 1 and a half hours ( TOO LONG ) we had to sit at our desks in TOTAL silence and write an essay on why were being punished we have to get our parents to sign the detention slip, it says no student will be freed before 5 pm.
yesterday morning the headmaster said there was going to be a staff meeting and school would finish an hour early ( WE ALL CHEERED ) all those in detention must go to the detention room at 2 20pm to serve our punishment, to our horror the teacher taking detention said we could not leave before 5pm, she said we should NOT benefit from school finishing early as we were being punished for poor behaviour and rule breaking, NK THIS IS SO UNFAIR DONT YOU ?

Wait til you grow up and actually have some problems. Actually I hope you don't have any problems but that is the last fraying string of me still managing to be a decent human being and not telling you what I actually think.
bigbecky - It must surely have dawned on you by now that if you want sympathy and agreement, you are on the wrong site.
This site is almost entirely used by adults, most of which have children, and they are never going to indulge your endless self-pitying need for agreement and approval.
You have two choices - post here and get told to be your age and take responsibility for your life, or find a site that is used by teenagers, and you can all tell each other how awful the world is until you get tired of each other, or grow up, whichever comes first.

You are learning a valuable lesson - Life is inherently UNFAIR.
For example, are you aware that while you were in detention, hundreds of children elsewhere in the world died because they had not enough food to eat. And they were innocent of any misdemeanour, unlike you.
So instead of moaning all the time, count your blessings.
