Xmas! What will or would make your Xmas special this year?

Being able to ignore it completely, might feel differently in a year or two but having a holiday imposed because of someone else's religion is a pain.

Having the family together, including my brother's family, all together on the one day!!

It's going to be the first time in 6 years we haven't spent it on a Caribbean beach. Sad though that is it means family are coming, the tree, decs, turkey, presents etc etc. All things we haven't bothered with for some while.

The Ms will be working on and off through the 'holiday' :( As i'm self employed i have the time off from Christmas eve all the way to the 2nd maybe even the 3rd ;) hehe

What would make it special would be her being able to have it off !

I feel anxious just thinking about it! I'll be alright on the day though. Got my sister coming from Canada, so that will be something to look forward to. Ideally, I'd like to sit back and let someone else take over...

What would make it really nice would be to spend it with my SO and his daughter. He is trying to get full custody of her at the moment as she is currently in foster care having been removed from her mother's care by social services. We are hoping that he will be granted full custody but social services are dragging their heels as he does not have Parental Responsibility under Isle of Man law.
