Tampon

My 17yr old grand daughter is struggling with tampons I feel silly asking this question but when she puts one in she can’t get it out and calls me to pull it out she lives with me.
Is there something she is doing wrong. Sorry I’m late 50;s and been years since I’ve dealt with this myself.

sometimes the string can go (alongside) the tampon/cardboard box so difficult to get out, sometimes a good big cough can help.

I couldn't get one out many years ago and all the girls in the typing pool were hysterical - and at one time when I was trying to get it out - a pair of eyebrow tweezers came flying over the toilet.

she is better going back to pads.
