Do you think her maj took out one of those funeral plans from Bun Life?
Charles, I've just got my Bun Life through the post.
Oh congratulations, mammy!
Yes. No medical required. Simples!
Or maybe they had a good talk about cremation, as in that ad where they're all having a great time walking in the woods, coming home to a cosy house, everyone smiling and jolly. Cremation is the answer! Phone the HOTLINE now! :o)
I was there when she was moved to Westminster Hall. We didn't go for that, though. We'd had something planned for a few weeks that just co-incided. We walked along the south bank, past The London Eye, over the Golden Jubilee Bridge and through Trafalgar Square and had snacks on the steps of Eros in Piccadilly Circus. We encountered the queue for the coffin. It was all single file. If it was 2 or 3 deep, it would only be half as long, maybe even shorter.
Naomi, I didn't see the queues on TV, I walked alongside them. I was there. Does telling you how it was, make me mean spirited? The biggest gathering I saw was in Trafalgar Square, where no-one could see anything at all because the views of The Mall and Whitehall were blocked by 15 ft tall panels.
