Do I Take This Job?

I been offered a job as a cleaner in a school 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 20 hours per week.

I would have thought the school cleaners would work after school is out .... or early morning?  Is it a big school?

 She says it is temporary but what about the school holidays. Would she get paid?

Abbey, you may have to work  to term times so wouldn't be able to take odd days off for holidays in  term time. It's worth checking if you may want days off in the week soon

I thought it was 8-3 or 8-4 but that could have been one the previous jobs

I think some of these jobs are 'offered' in the sense that agencies fill the posts from people they have on their books.

You might start the job abbey and then find after a couple of days they say to the agency "no thanks, send someone else please"

Jumping from job to job is not a good idea if there is no increase in 'benefits'

it leads to gaps in your cv and then questions will be asked

If itster ti.e payment only Abbey, you'll have 6 or 7 weeks without pay in summer ( if you're still there then).

What's the pay rate for the school role?

When you say offered it infers that its yours if you want it?

Abbey, were you actually offered the job originally? How can you 'not get it' if you'd been offered it? Did you have an interview?

The agencies you're with don't seem to be ... very useful!
