Personalised beer or I got my Dad a football shirt of his favourite footie team and had his name and the number 50 printed on the back.

Hannah how about a gift basket you make up yourself. Is there an expensive coffee, tea or wine or anything that he "treats" himself to occasionally - but not on a regular basis? My sister does that for me with bath products & perfumes - it is always an adventure and like getting several presents in one!!!

I got my dad a private number plate which incorporated his initials and the number 50. He absolutely loved it. It's a good idea but depends how much you want to spend. There are loads of different combinations you can put on one. Initials, the word DAD, his date of birth, etc. Hope this helps.
