Easy or hard life?
7 Answers
If you were really really honest and didn't have to admit it to anyone else (apart from ABers!!) would you say you had a relatively easy daily routine or do you find life a bit of a struggle?
What are your circumstances and what is your typical day like?
Mine: Live alone with 4 year old son in rented accomodation in part-time employment in customer services department and one day a week voluntary helper in infants school.
Today: Woke up 7.30am, woke my boy up. Washed us both, dressed us both, made his breakfast and got myself ready while he ate. Washed up & wiped round. Walked him to school 1 mile away and then walked to my work, 1 mile again. On phones listening to complaints til 6pm. Walked to childminders 0.5 mile away to pick up the boy and then home round the corner. Got in, made some toast for me and chatted to boy about school. Bathed him and put him to bed with a story. Hoovered. Had a bath myself, came downstairs, washed lunchbox and rucksack out, made lunch for morning. Put a load of washing in. Went online to pay some bills. Watched Eastenders, had a brew and chocolate! Hung up washing and i'm now sat on my bum watching Holby City!

I do whatever I want ,whenever I want with no committments or worries.
Life isn't easy, but it isn't really that taxing either.
As long as I have my health, a warm house and a few quid in the bank to pay the bills and eat well, then everything else is fairly straightforward, Why fret about relationships or not being able to afford a Givenchy jacket?

Hey sair... how's the eating going?...
I have to admit I have it pretty bloody easy!
I'm a graphic designer... work 3 days a week for a guy i've known for years... he's pretty laid back too so we start more often than not 'when we feel like it'... never before 10.30 unless there's a big deadline to meet... there are days when we work 20hrs straight through non-stop but that doesn't happen too often... I'm freelance and also have my own clients who fortunately are pretty laid back as well... I'll travel up to London to pick up briefs etc. but only once a week max. as I do all my work on a Mac and communicate/send finished files wherever they need to go via broadband from home... sometimes I work through the nights and have the following days free if deadlines are relaxed...
Before I get linched by everyone, I would like to add that prior to my current relaxed circumstances I worked for a fair few years 6 days a week.. and stupidly long hours 'learning my trade' before I'd had enough and decided to 'opt out' of all that sh!t and go freelance... I now earn substantially less than I did 5 years ago but have much more free 'flexible' time (enabling me to take long breaks abroad) and much less stress...
