You always hate our mates, it's only to be expected as you can't stand you're own friends. I've lost track of the amount of girlfriends I've had who've done nothing but bitch about their friends in the car home.
Women, you can't live with em, and that's about it really. ;-))

i cant stand my boyfriend best mate! he just turns up and stays for ever! normally about 2 days! if we go out he tags along, if we go outwith friends as couples he tags along! and is just a **** to me! he is jealous that i took his best mate away from him as they used to spend every minute together! and i usually end up arguing with my boyfriend more when his mate is about!

they are nice people and i get along with them fine but they r all a bit rowdy (not at all like my bf who is quieter). i have been out with them on a few occassions but dont like to go to often. they r all heavy smokers and have dabbled with drugs and my bf used to follow the crowd. i hate this side of them and expressed my dislike of smoking and drugs to my bf from the very first day i met him. since my bf and i got together he has quit the bad habits but still goes out with them to the pub once a week. bless him!

I find girls are the worst! I met a lot of my boyfriends (guy) mates, and absolutely loved them, and got on well with them, they were all pretty polite and such a laugh.

The girls were the worst, one in particular, she was really jealous that I'd taken her 'best friend'/admirer away, and she wanted him back. She didn't speak to me for ages, and ignored me and my boyfriend when we were together.

In my case the boyfriend's flatmate is great and has never caused any grief, but two of the others have wound me up in the past - and occasionally still do. One is an unemployed idiot who overestimates his own intelligence and takes more dope than gainful employment. Thankfully our paths don't cross too often. The other one wasn't as bad but has mercifully grown up, got a job and a life of his own as well - happy days. However I would not be too bothered if either of them suddenly emigrated to the back of beyond.
Anyway, some BFs don't always think our girlfriends are the best thing since sliced bread.
