I haven't personally got experience (I should be so lucky to get a toyboy) but look at Joan Collins, her husband is 30 odd years younger than her! Juliet Mills is married to Maxwell Caulfield who is 18 years younger, Demi Moore is married to Ashton Kutcher who is 15 years younger, Madonna is 9 years older than Guy Ritchie...

You see what I'm getting at? Lots of women marry younger men - I know all my examples are famous but many ordinary women do it too.

You've been together 10 years already so you must have a solid relationship, forget his age, do you want to marry him? If you do then go for it! Age is just a number after all...

I dated a man 12 years younger than me - I was 39 and he was 27 when we met. We were only together a year. We spilt up for a few reasons, but age wasnt one of them.

I must admit I had issues with the age gap thinking 'when I am 50 he will only be 38 etc' but it never bothered him.

If you are happy - go ahead and get married!! Life has no guarantees so dont let numbers spoil something good!

I posted on here before, but my sister's friend married someone who was 17 year's her junior. They met when he was in his mid twenties, and several years on, they're just as happy as when they first met. At the age of 43, this lady had a baby. What more can you say. An age difference is only what you make it.

My husband is 10 years younger than me and we have had a long marriage, its other people that mind, if you are both happy go for it.

my husband is 15 years younger than me, we have been married for 21 yrs and lived together for 5 years before that.to make sure we were compatable.
It will work if you want to make it work, we have some interests and hobbies that we do together and other things we do seperately, we do travel a lot together though, we have no children and we dote on our two dogs and a cat.
Dont think I am being rude but after 10 yrs together should you not be refering to him as your partner rather than boy friend ? and how long before you are 55 yrs young ? why not now ?
