tn? Tennessee? Sorry but this is a UK based website (hence the .co.uk bit). Maybe if you contacted the court house yourself they may be able to answer you.

BTW in the UK you would not be able to marry without parents permission at 16, even if you had a child together, you would still need to be 18.

It depends on which country you are in in the british Isles, ie England - need parental consent - Scotland - not needed - but also varies in different states of the US.

Gretna Green is indeed in Scotland and you can marry at 16 there without parental permission! You must give notice at least 15 days before the big day itself and you can do this by post...however at least one of the couple has to attend in person just before the day to get the marriage schedule!
