Fundraising event ..

Hi all. I'm taking part in the RACE FOR LIFE fundraising event (5km / 3 mile race) in aid of Cancer Research and would be grateful if anyone out there would be willing to sponsor me, you can sponsor me directly through the charity's website where I have my own sponsorship page which is ;

This is a well publicised charity event and is currently being advertised on TV too. My particular event day is Sunday 13th July at Blackheath (Kent). Nearly everyone knows someone who has or is suffering with this terrible disease and it would nice to give a little help by way of sponsoring me.. if you sponsor me on-line the money goes directly to the charity itself (please remember to do gift-aid which will benefit the charity too, it will be explained on the website).

I'm doing this In Memory of a friend's father who passed away 3 yrs ago and many others, whoever they may be. I thank you in advance.. every penny will help. MustangLady

Thanks max. Although not a commercial venture, charities use some of the funding for their own admin purposes, so I wasn't sure how this type of thing'd be seen.
Whatever, I hope you raise lots of money for the cause, mustangLady.

Good Luck! I am doing one again this year at my school. Last year we raised over 25,000. Mine is June 14th.

I will be walking in my mom's memory and in memory of my sister in laws mom and the mother of a student, and in honor of a student who is battling cancer.

It was such an uplifting event and is now a fond memory of my mother and my students together.

hi. thanks all for your support and i aim to raise as much as possible, my initial target is �200 but hopefully i'll go over that. I wasn't sure if i was allowed to put this on the AB site, but thought if it wasn't allowed they'd soon pull it off. Still here though! you can log in to my sponsor page just to see how i'm doing too if you want to check it out. Good luck to everyone else who is doing this, as it is for a very good cause (as all charities usually are).
