as so many of you lovely abers live in london do any of you come from or live in/near Benfleet??
i was wondering as my mum grew up there in the 50's and 60's and we know so little of what her early years, i guess i just want a glimpse.

Benfleet is about 30 miles from London. It's usually known as South Benfleet these days. Photographs from the 50s and 60s can be found here:
