my work colleuge will be 50 monday and we are doing a night shift on that night i want to get her a thoughtful but cheap gift any ideas?????????/

Well for someone approaching 50 I can say that I really have everything.

However -its really thoughful of you so I would suggest maybe one of those Yankee candles or perhaps a nice bottle of Cava -something she wouldnt get herself but it would a nice suprise.If I think of anything else i'll come back to you.

Well, I presume you'll be buying her a card which everyone will put a pen to. You could buy her the single which was at No 1 when she was born. This is thoughtful as you had to check it out.(If you're interested I can check it out for you) and cheap as it's old music.

Actually something along those lines ^^^^^ -would make me laugh and if she is a good sport then she would see the funny side as well !!

O and a nice buch of flowers -they always win me over no matter how much of a cliche it is.
