What can I say?
11 Answers
I know there must be a few ABers who've been in the same position as my sister-in-law. Her husband, after 35 years of marriage announced this summer he was leaving her and wanted a quick divorce as he was going to live abroad (South America). He told her he'd never really loved her amongst other awful things. She's devestated and feels her life with him has been a big lie. What can I say to her so she doesn't feel like this as it's eating away at her. By the way, the divorce is final and he's gone.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, my brother-in-law could be put into this category redhead. He was a doctor so good job and everything, did the gardening, didn't drink, nothing to blame him for really other than this. It's as if he's been brain-washed. I suppose just listening to her as you all say and with time she'll start looking forward instead of back. Thanks again.
