Did you have your mum at your hen party.or did you have your dad at your stag party,my son is having his stag party in ibiza next year i dont know if my ex is going, and i wonder if my sons intended will invite me to her hen party, when i got married we never invited the parents, how times have changed!
It never entered my head to invite my mum or mum-in-law, I just didn't think it would be their cup of tea (it wasn't really mine, truthfully!) - but my mum-in-law turned up regardless! She was very welcome anyway!
When I got married back in 2006, my mom and mom in law both came along and my godmother and a family friend who were all in their 50's. There were lots of us between 21 and 50+. We went round pubs and clubs, lol. It was a good laugh. Not their usual cup of tea but came because it was nice for me to have all my closest friends and family there. If you get on well it can be a great time. Depends how well you all get on together.
A lot of 'Hens' have more than one hen party - one with mates and one with family.
However my daughter had just the one ,with me and the future mother in law in tow. Everyone had a great time.
Son in law went abroad and took, dad, father in law and grandad!!!!
I suppose it all depends on what kind of relationship you have and what kind of hen party!!!!!!
