Hi there,
friends of ours have just moved into rented accommodation, they find pictures and photographs turned upside down and items that should be upstairs have been brought downstairs and vice versa,
when they complained to the landlord it turns out he had omitted to tell them of the problem.
so my question is how do you solve this problem.
by the way this ghost or whatever is not noisy, but these strange things just happen. Thank for any information you can give. Ray.

go to see the local vicar they can "exorcise" with a ceremony in the house, they wont laugh at you, because things will get worse if the spirits are trying to drive you out. Alternative ask the local Spiritualist Church to help, they should be able to send a medium round who would tell you why. It wont get better by itself. Research with the local paper has something bad gone in there in the past.

What tosh! Have you contacted the media? Such obvious proof that ghosts exist must surely be newsworthy.

As suggested first of all try asking them politely to leave.... remind them it is your home now and they need to move on... if that doesn't work get some sage incense from a 'new age ' shop and burn that in the rooms where most of the activity is happening,,, and put bunches of sage and bay in vases in the rooms...also strange as it seems give the rooms a really good cleaning with some sage essential oil in the water you use...stopping to tell them to go every few minutes.. good luck...

Redcrx...its just the common cleansing herb comes from the native american tradition but have used it a couple of times either using a 'smudger' or burning the dried leaves. as well as filling vases with the stuff
A friends house felt 'occupied' with a really scary cold spot real hairs up on the back of your neck stuff....threatened to do a banishing ritual if the nice requests didn't work...seems ok now but took a couple of goes...

Why are such obvious cases as these not made public? This would surely end the "are ghosts real" debate.

but would it, squarebear? If you are a non believer, what would it take you to believe? a film of a ghost on youtube? a tale of a sighting? a full bodied aparition stood in front of you?

Has the possibility of the children sleepwalking/playing etc been looked in to? Sleep walking is often caused by stress. Moving is stressful. People can do things in their sleep such as play without knowing anything about it.

It would prove beyond any doubt that ghosts exist. However, I would assume it would show some prankster having a laugh myself.

and thats my point. those who dont believe will rarely change their mind, its the same with religion. I dont believe in a God, and cant see that i ever will, though i accept that others do. :) we all have our own opinions.

Where "ghosts" are concerned Im more of a critical believer, i dont just accept that what people claim to be ghosts are ghosts, I'd rather try and see what could be other causes.
for example, we visited a place once where the business relied on a strange history and ghostly tales for the tourists money. The team set up, called out, had responses to questions related to the supposed history. Some of the team got excited, the "ghost" was replying to them. It was then that the questioner started to alternate between calling loudly and then whispering. It was found that the replying knocks were only heard when the questions were loud. On further investigation it was found that the next door neighbours were knocking on the walls, perhaps the owner of the property was trying to increase her (media publicised) ghostly publicity. Nothing was found in record books of any of the history the property claimed either.

So let's rig some cameras up and have a look. When I see these picture turning over by themselves, i will believe.

like who though? Ive seen things on camera that have no explanation at all, ghosts, maybe, certainly unknowns. But i wonder if people would seriously consider the possibilty of ghosts if they saw them

These "events" have apparently been filmed many times, I find however that this footage is always very dark poor quality and questionable.

I have a moderately cheap camcorder that will film even in very dark rooms without any additional lighting, I know if there was something going on in any room in my house, I could film it and every detail without any problem.

Redcrx, I'm totally with you on this, I really think that even if I saw a ghost in front of me I would probably think it is my mind playing tricks, however it was an episode that was repeated or if this ghost could hold a conversation with me I may have to believe it.

I would take some convincing I must admit!!
