oh not just false but boring
Depends where you live. I've yet to see anyone wear a Burka in my town. I hardly see anyone who is not white in my area.
the England of Gracie Fields? When you had outside loos and died at 55? Oh yes, I'd just love to send BNP activists back there.
An absolute crock of nonsense.............
Hi! Jack.....hope you are getting on OK.
Still supine, in the main.........but thanks for asking.
jack ;-).....no problem.
Not true at all. We have plenty of immigrants down here in the south-east but equally we still have plenty of indigenous people claiming benefits who have never worked in their lives. Normal people are still there for anyone who bothers to look beyond the sensationalist headlines. I count myself as a poor person these days, we both work but we have no money left over for entertainment etc - but we are not complaining, as long as we can pay our way.
^ and PS - why pick on Muslims? They have been here in England for hundreds of years, as have the Jews. Muslim-related coins were found in Offa's Dyke. It's nothing new - and most of the people in England (indeed in the whole of the UK) are descendants of immigrant populations - Vikings, Huns, etc.
I live in a small city with plenty of ethnic diversity.........AND I LIKE IT LIKE IT LIKE THAT.

Must be because I grew up with it in the States, and it is new blood that helps make a country in my opinion. Besides-immigrants have been invading this country for a few millennia-nothing new about it,and it is part of what makes you British.
Absolutely, pasta!
lol boxy...I am a descendent of immigrants.......bloody English / Irish from the 18th c...and Italian from the early 20th.......so I will never criticise. ;-))
Pasta - I have a Welsh father , Irish mother, Scottish husband(s) - I can't complain, I AM multicultural too!
There was a telly program a few years ago where they tested the DNA of both ordinary people and a few celebs.....all had very varied ethnicities....from Turkish(fairly common),to Native American. There is no such thing as 'pure'...except in the minds of a few deluded types.
Oh! England...only the rich could go abroad on holidays, the aircraft were comfy and there was no trouble from common folk and working class and their likes.
Hotels and resorts abroad were up market, food was good and there were no queues for the buffet lunch. Then, one knew one´s place in society and one had an incentive to improve oneself
The 11+ sorted the wheat from the chaff and the wheat had the opportunity to go on to higher education with degrees that meant something.
The chaff, just got on with life in jobs that were needed in the community e.g teachers or dust men or worked in the bank.

By and large, the NHS was run by indigenous nurses and doctors until they left for the USA or Australia to be replaced by Asians, some of whom couldn´t speak English.

Mainly your first sexual penetrative encounter was when you were at least 18years old and teenaged pregnancies were the exception rather than the rule.

Well....I could go on, but there is a lot top be said for.....MY ENGLAND.
Hear, hear, sqad! Spot on, old chap, and jolly well said...Cricket, anyone?:)
stewey.....glad you enjoyed it......;-)
*the chaf*..........how nice that most of us would have been the equivalent to being dregs of society back in the 'good old days'......lol
ENGLAND - the land of milk and honey - thats why they are queuing up to hide in a lorry in France.
It wasn't as idyllic as some think they remember. Dr Bernardo's homes were full of unwanted children, many people lived in slum housing, no legal abortion, and no birth control.
