Yes it is normal to feel weird. My Dad was 54 when I was born and it was embarassing being picked up from school by what looked like my granddad. My parents then separated and my mother married a man who was again much older than her. I then found myself surrounded by step-brothers and sisters/cousins/nieces/nephews of all sorts of different ages that didn't quite fit with the norm.
All I can say is forget the familial link between you and these people and get to know them as individuals showing due respect and learn from having a mature relationship with another adult.

I was seventeen when my youngest sister was born and my son is five months older than my brother. When they were babies I looked after them almost as much as my mother did and it was great. Now they are all grown up with families of their own we have an unbreakable bond and are very very close. My eldest son was eleven when my other son was born and he used to love doing things for him. There was a bit of tension when the youngest started walking and would go into older brothers room and "mess" with his possessions but they are very close now
No weired relations in regards to age Molly, but some seriously weird relations scattered through the family, ranging from a religous fanatic who every time there's a family get together condems us all to hell as being unworthy of heaven, including his brother who is a parish priest, and does a 150 mile round trip to a RC church which still does the full latin mass as it's not a true mass, he says, if it's said in English, to another who has a multiple personality disorder, so you never really know who you're going to meet depending on whether or not he's been taking his meds, fortunatly none of his persona are violent,Yet another is serving 15 years for various offences which came to light when it was discovered she had alered her Fathers will in her favour, It's strongly believed in the family that she actually smoothered my uncle though it was unproven despite police suspicions, in fact one of the officers told me unofficially that they were 95% certain she'd done it they just couldn't get that bit extra to charge her. So age differences are no big deal, as cazzz says just get and enjoy them, you never know what will happen next.
Molly I think ABer's are in general fairly normal (most of the time) but then again I don't think my lot are to different from a lot of other families, as Dotty who does a lot of geneology will tell you once you start looking into your families past you never know what skeletons are going to creep out of the cupboared
