Old Thumper by Ringwood brewery a bit strong for some folk at 5.6 ABV but a wonderfully rounded flavour with real depth and somehow just right as we slide towards Autumn.
There is a tang that is quite 'apple-y' but it is in no way like cider its a proper ale. Worth checking your local free houses and if they ever get it on pump guzzle some you will be a happy Ab'er

That and 49er are fairly available round here in bottles at supermarkets. 49er is quite popular on the pump, Old Thumper a bit harder to obtain.
