Rare Breed (4.2%) from Butcombe Brewery.
Pale Amber in colour with a Hoppy Citrus smell.
Refreshing and Fruity taste.
A good session Beer being as it is not too strong.
Rowan and myself both enjoyed it, and it's available from all good Ember Inns e.g 'The Green Man', Harborne.
It's in their Autumn Beer range Catalogue.

Worth a mention is:-
Monkey IPA (6.4%) from Art Brew.
A hard hitting beer, very Hoppy with strong grapefruit flavours and a bitter astringency. If you like your beers strongly hopped then this will be a treat. The ginger in the middle is interesting and gives this beer a unique character.
Available at the 'Post Office Vaults', New Street, Birmingham.
We are both regular visitors to 'Post Office Vaults' and 'The Wellington', Bennett's Hill, which are the best two Cask Ale Specialists in Birmingham.
Enjoy your Beer everone ! :-)

7.3%??????
Honeydew is available inBirmingham at the Fullard's pub, the old bank building by the Cathedral, although sadly only in keg
The old Joint Stock.... worth a visit for the pies alone.

7.3 need to hunt that one down ... there are some lovely strong continentals I would like to champion too.... all around the 8% mark including Delirium tremens and Barbar honey only sold in half pints but a nice change from the cask ones if there are none you fancy at the time
Have you tried King Goblin by Wychwood? 6.6%, bottle = 3.3 units. Got one left, for later in case pub tonight only has its regular Moorhouse's Premier.

'The Old Joint Stock' is a Fullers Pub with decent Beer, and as Rowan says, their Pies are excellent and it gets very busy mainly because of the Food.
If I come across Honeydew on Draught I will try a Pint, but I keep away from Keg as it gives me a bad head !
Have not seen King Goblin on Draught BIGJACK, will keep my eyes peeled for that.
'The Wellington' with 16 Pumps, 'Post Office Vaults' with 8, and 'The Old Contemptibles' with 12 are three of our favourite Pubs in Brum City Centre.
The Welly and The Vaults are Cask Ale Specialist Free House Pubs.
