Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

I am sitting up for a different reason tonight. The temperature is plummeting and the heater in the tortoise shed is playing up. I am tweaking it then leaving it an hour to see how it goes then tweaking again. They are in two boxes and each box has got two thermometer probes in it plus sensors that record the air temperature in the shed outside the box and an independent thermometer that measures the temp in the shed. next check is at 23.30, hopefully then to bed.

Neti I'm pleased your niece has been to see Baby Cooper and hope that she is able to go home soon and come and see him regularly. I hope too that he improves quickly even though I know it does take a while for premature babies even with the special care they receive.

Woofy hope you got a good nights sleep after all your clock watching.

Shaney hope you to are now really feeling better and you get really well for Christmas.

It was so cold last night in the Peaks even so we did have a good day. The sherry and mince pies were good and the we listened to some good organ music. With a good singalong to Christmas songs and carols.

I think I'll get up now and get some breakfast...and a cuppa of course.

Damp and chilly here. Big cancer fair in Ibiza today and everyone goes as it's a good cause, the money raised actually does stay on the island to help the afflicted. It's usually a load of crap there on sale but we buy something to support it. 2 years ago we won a long weekend in Barcelona, flight and hotel included so not all bad.

My niece is in Hastings hosital and they live in Eastbourne, a bit far when one has to travel 3 or 3 times a day.

Hope you are feeling better Shaney, and Robi and jno's toe.
Oh woofy, if it's not the dogs it's the hedgehogs, bet you are shattered. Good on you though.

Keep on coughing it up Shaney. I am eating odd chocolate from Ikea. It comes in a selection bag and its white chocolate with chewy crispy blobs of aniseed in it. It sounds odd but actually is very nice.

The mother likes "mini cooper", the dad only managed to get there today to hold baby for the first time, now I can see how tiny he reallyh is!

Had a good day, we went to big lidl in San An and bought lots of toffees and goodies, then ate in a italian restaurant , then went to Ibiza to the cancer fair, well we tried and tried to spend money but it's all crap, and can't waste it, I did find a knee length quilted jacket so cot that but it needs a new zip, also found some new shoes for 1€ for sister for xmas, she'll like them.

Oh that coughing shaney, just goes on and on and you think your guts are going to come out, just keep warm and indoors.

Good morning from a wet and chilly Ibiza. Was woken up by torrential rain at 6.30, it sounds really loud on the flat roof !!

I have no problem sleeping, well there is one and that's the cat! but once she's done her in and out and nestles next to my leg, then all is well.

I do hope you are all well and shaney is getting better daily, it takes it out of you doesn't it?

oh dear, was it your turn on nightwatch jno? I thought I was going to be awake for hours too...why do you feel lousy the moment your head touches the pillow? Anyway I had a dizzy pill and thankfully it worked. My sister won't take meds even when she really ought to...I'm past caring, I get fed up of battling things.

I've got some things to wrap but I'm not really in the mood. I need an assistant...

Bright and cold .I'm going to start sleeping standing up .As soon as I lay down it's cough,cough all night long or so it seems .I'm so worn out with this and ache all over.I feel like cancelling Christmas and hibernating somewhere until the end of January. Bah, Humbug !

good morning, plenty of room in the shed ladies but you will need to supply your own boxes and thermometers. I have discovered what is triggering Rab's nightime garden hunting, its a mouse! one tiny mouse who climbs up the bird feeder stand and eats out of the stuffed coconut shell. When the dogs rush out, he leaps off into the mahonia below and runs away giggling. I saw him do the same thing three times last night!

lol woofy...I've seen a mouse jump into the hedge from the bird table which also has a mahonia underneath it. I thought it might deter cats from standing underneath/leaping on it.

Well I've done a bit of wrapping, I've not got that much to do, but I appear to have mislaid my interest.

Good afternoon Biddyfriends. Well that's all my presents done and wrapped except one. That is Steady's but that's cash which means one visit to the bank.
My 'allergy' if that is what it was is easing off with the tabs I bought. There are only 2 left to take now and I've only sneezed a couple of times this morning.
Sorry you're still suffering Shaney. Get well soon. When I was bad last time I used to prop myself up in bed which did help.

Hope everyone else is ok. Rob I hate taking tablets and these anti histamines are the only self prescribed ones for years apart from paracetamol.
Even if my dr gives me something he always says take them all dos he knows what I'm like.
Tai chi tomorrow then our Christmas Lunch together. There will be about 12 of us. We do it every year and it's usually a good getogether.
