Quick question: I had 2mg of Diazepam last night (6.30pm) and was wondering if it would be safe to drink a couple of glasses of wine tonight?
I know it's a really low dose, but I tend to panic about things, so thought best to ask first.
I've been prescribed ten tablets, which are supposed to last me three weeks, so aren't expected to take them every night, just "when anxious", so wouldn't *need* to take one tonight.

Would this be ok, or would the 2mg still be in my system?

Thanks :-)

Well everyone on here thinks you'll be OK. :-)) Next time you get worked up over a medication thing like this, give a pharmacist a call. They will happily advise you over the phone, then you can feel safe.

Speaking purely personally - I can see no harm.

Yeah, I was thinking the same.
I wasn't intending on drinking and taking more tonight, but was just worried in case any of that 2mg from last night was still in my system.

Thank you :-)

Thats' a miniscule amount compared to the (Valium) I used to take in my day along with alcohol.

Ok, great, so (and I know this sounds dramatic, but I really do panic over things like this) there's not much chance of me coming to any harm?
