Good bar in London for daytime drinks?
Where's a good bar to go in Central London for two females who want to chat and drink wine over lunchtime. Looking for somewhere pleasant, not too rowdy. Any suggestions?

Couple of ideas: the Rockwell Bar in the Trafalgar Hotel on Trafalgar Square; any of the several places in Heddon Street/Lancashire Court off Bond Street (if you've been shopping)
Slightly more adventurous and needs thought: the champagne bar in Tower 42 (The NatWest Tower) in the City - I think you have to book for security reasons; and another high-spot: the Windows on the World barin (I think) the Hitlon near Hyde Park

God knows what happened then... must have hit submit by mistake... ah well, let's carry on...
Better ideas: Square Meal has a search function by postcode/landmark etc and will give you bars as well as restaurants; and Fancy a Pint offers some interesting views on pubs etc
Hope that helps.
