Tea in the USA
To Clanad in the US of A , why don`t you yanks learn that the correct way to make a `nice cup of tea` is to use BOILING water poured over the tea-bag and left for a short while or longer (according to taste) and then add the milk and sweeteners (or sugar) instead of luke warm water and a quick dip of the tea-bag?

I use a pot if there's more than 2 of us having what we Welsh folk in the North call a "panad". Warm the pot first by swishing some boiling water around and then put in the tea bags 1 for each person and "1 for the pot". Add your water and you have a proper cup of tea. Another advantage of making it in a pot is that you don't get that horrible staining on your cups and mugs. If there's just the 2 of us, it's teabags in the mugs!
Well, since Clanad has not responded yet, I will speak for America. Or at least my wife, who drinks a lot of tea (I am a coffee man, as are most real Americans). She does boil the water and does steep it for quite some time. She also has an extensive teapot collection. But, sugar and cream in tea? Yuk. What's next, vinegar on French Fries ("chips")?
