What's the worst, or best thing you've ever impulse bought?
Today I went to the Co-op and because it was on offer I bought a litre of whisky and a large trifle............I only went in for a packet of cream crackers.
Did you get the Jacobs too?
I cannot resist a bargain. Last week the Co-op were doing litre bottles of Bells and Smirnoff for £16 each. Morrisons had a £1 off their Gordon's sloe gin, plus multi packs of our favourite ciggies were a good buy too. I have saved quite a bit :o)
i went to Dundee to buy a skirt for my Grandad's funeral and came back with a 5 year old Lab/GSD from the dog pound. He lived until he was 14 - he was a total psycho.
I think the worst thing I ever impulse bought was a 36 pack of cereal bars for about a fiver. I bought them for breakfast at work, by the fourth day I was sick of them.
Craft - change the attitude. It is what you have saved that counts, not what you have spent :o)
Wolf - now that is good shopping. I took the dog for a walk and came back with a car. I only once went out intentionally to buy a dog. I have had 2 phone calls that told me someone had got me a present - I replied 'dog or cat', I was a great rehomer of unwanted pets in my heyday.
Yep, had a walk round West Quay in Southampton today. We were only going for a walk, but I ended up buying some Hotel Chocolat goodies for bobjugs' parents and having some scram at Yo! Sushi.
I regularly go to the supermarket for a bottle of milk and a loaf of bread and always come out with a trolley full of "bargains". My milk and bread are very expensive.
Back in the late 60's I bought 2 large catering packs of lemon meringue filling for 2/6. Haven't been able to face lemon meringue pie for over 40 years now.
I went to the New Forest horse sale, for a lung line and came back with a pony, I was going to feed him up and find him a good home. He was 18 months old and is now 13, what happened to the home I was going to find him!
