Halogen oven choc chip cookies ..
(Makes 8 - 10 depending on size)
125g butter
125g caster sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
175g self raising flour
125g choc chips
Pre heat halogen oven to 200c .. just keep it on at this temp for a few mins.
Mix butter & sugar .. add egg & vanilla extract & then the flour & choc chips.
On a well greased & floured baking tray place golfball sized dollops of the mixture ( I managed 4 on the round baking tray that comes with your oven) .. allow for the mixture expanding! Place on the low rack & bake for 10 minutes .. Keep an eye on them browning. When you take them out they'll still be pliable but firm up as they cool so don't overcook!
