Hey guys...so iv just defrosted a joint of beef over night for a roast today, iv just checked on it and all the liquid that has defrosted out is a blood colour and quite a lot of it, is it still ok to cook and eat?! (I'm squeamish and neurotic about meat hence the question!!) thanks!! :)

If it smells okay & not rank roast as normal. Keep the defrosted blood to add to gravy.
It's fine. That happens every time you defrost beef.
