Anyone else do this? I can't wrap my head round drinking soup from a cup so if i do a cup a soup, it's made in a cup, but then transferred to a bowl.

I got told i was weird at work (well ok, weirder) when someone saw me doing this. I'm not on my own, right?

No...not weird. That's what I would do :-)
I have a special cup-a-soup mug. It's big like a bowl but has a handle on the side that has a little hole to hold it's own special spoon.

I actually love it.
Not at all... soup should be served in a bowl and eaten with a spoon and not sipped!

its the thought i think. In my mind, anything from a cup (juice/coffee/tea etc) shouldn't be thick and gloopy. It makes me gag to drink gloop from a cup.

Ok, i read that out loud, I AM weird, think i should stop talking now :-(
Ooops, that's my post watershed one!

Nope, that's the phrase on the mug that my beloved father gave me yesterday as a present from his recent holiday in York... he knows me well!
Cup A Soup in a bowl ??

That is SO wrong.

And why can't they make a Cup A Soup which isn't watery at the top, and thick when you get to the bottom?

ahhh, but then see Jayne, if you then transfer to a bowl, you can properly stir it. Plus how do you dunk your slices of bread in a cup?
you lot are weird
"how do you dunk your slices of bread in a cup?"

You don't !!
Question Author
you don't? you eat 'em dry? Urgh!!!
All soup should be eaten out of a bowl. I'm sophisticated like that...
Question Author
there see? I'm not on my own!
Surely if it were meant to be eaten from a bowl it would be called 'bowl-a-soup'.

The clues in the name Boo. The poor people at Batchelors probably spent eons trying to get the ingredients just right so that you don't have to faff about with pans and bowls then along comes Boo, makes it in cup, then sticks it in a bowl anyway.

W T F? :-/
ok so you're trapped in a dungeon not way of getting anythign to eat or drink (or fashion a bowl out of) i offer you soup in a cup, what would you do?
