Anyone else do this? I can't wrap my head round drinking soup from a cup so if i do a cup a soup, it's made in a cup, but then transferred to a bowl.

I got told i was weird at work (well ok, weirder) when someone saw me doing this. I'm not on my own, right?

I never claimed there was logic in it MissN! :-(

well yes, i'm sure id manage to drink it then McFluffy (would there be cakes to follow it?)
cup a soup in a bowl with some extra veggies stirred in maybe a little cream.... nasty product much improved ....

And you drink that Rowan? The lumps don't make you gag?
very uncouth.

it would be like eating a pot noodle from a plate using a fish knife and dessert fork.
i'd give you a stick of celerey as yr spoon and be lucky i'm feeding ya

Boo, its a dungeon you will be fed nasty cupa soup in a mug and i will sit outside your cage eating french fancies
Are you ever tempted to drink the soup (especially as it's getting to the bottom) directly from the bowl?
Celery? Frankly I'd rather starve, I can't stand the stuff... bleugh!
might even grate some cheese on top.... I like veggies what more can I say
But, missnemesis ...

They STILL haven't got the ingredients right ... because they all sink to the bottom.
Jack :-0....That's like asking someone if they lick their plate!!
mccflufff I had no idea you could be quite so mean. He he he!

Nu huh Jack, that's what you save your crusts for.

<<doesn't do celery either, it's 'orrible.

And you still drink that from a cup rowan? Don't get me wrong, it sounds lovely, but in a bowl please!
of course she can...its a hobby.....
Besides ...

Why would you want to put one of those in a bowl?

It's so easy to make proper soup.

You just open a can, add a bit of water, and put it in the microwave for 4 minutes.
But if you are happy to slurp your soup out of the bowl.......what's the difference between that and a cup ?! ('cept the handle, probably).

Anyway, you can *never* completely empty a soup bowl merely by the application of spoon and bread.......impossible!! :o)
its a dungeon, what part of not meant to be nice are you not getting?

btw if you put about thrid water in and stir then add the rest of the water - no lumps. i only like plain cup a soup like chicken, start adding bits that got mushy and i'm out of there
don't like the croutons....
I got a nice wide top mug thats great for cup a soup. Campbells cup a soup is good, its thicker than batchelors, 53 p for pack of four in Morrisons. I add a little milk too.
